Description
Join us for this unique talk about how to step out of the dread and into making positive change toward reducing screen time. Kelly Beins, Occupational Therapist shares current data and concepts of neuroscience as it relates to screen-time and technology use. We are facing a mental health crisis in our children and daily life patterns of teens are concerning.  But instead of shaming  and sharing doom and gloom this talk is relatable.  Kelly validates what many parents already know and feel in their families to provide resources that go beyond managing content, cyber-bullying and video games and provides hope and ideas that parents can implement immediately when trying to navigate and balance screen time with their families. Kelly will be available for questions at the end of the talk. Kelly has spoken at national and state levels and is a published children’s author with over 23 years of clinical experience.
